Minor, Majors complete play
Closing ceremonies for the Concordia Parish Dixie Youth Baseball Minor and Major Leagues will be Friday at 6 p.m. at the Vidalia Minor/Major League Park.
Teams from Ferriday and Vidalia will be receiving their trophies at this time.
All-stars for both leagues will be announced at the end of the ceremonies.
Vidalia will host the Pitching Machine Sub-district Tournament on June 20.
Ferriday will host the Minor League Sub-district Tournament beginning July 4.
The Major League Sub-District Tournament will be held in Winnsboro beginning July 4.
This year, Concordia Parish Dixie Youth will have a 9-year-old all-star team, a 10-year-old all-star team, an 11-year-old all-star team and a 12-year old all-star team.
The 9-year-old and 11-year old all star teams will compete in district tournaments in Monroe. |
