Concordia All-Stars named
The Concordia Parish Dixie Youth Baseball League announced its all-star teams for Minor and Major Leagues.
Named to the Concordia Parish 9-year-old team were Lee Lancaster, Cameron King, Jerrius Scott, Cameron Rodgers, J.R. Davis, Drew McCartney, Joey Russell, Conner Branton, Reid Richard, Casey Cupit, Walker Wheeler and Trey Buckles.
Coaches are Jamie Lancaster, George Cupit and Robert Buckles.
The 9-year-olds will compete in a district tournament in Monroe beginning July 4.
Named to the 10-year-old team were Dylan Davis, Juju Cooper, Dylan Maynard, Za' Davis, Robert Hargrave, Cole Gatlin, Ron Williams, Cutter Robinson, Jacob Wilson, Braden Passinger and Eason Johnson.
Coaches are David Womack, Ron Williams and Wayne Holland.
The 10-year-olds begin sub-district play in Ferriday on July 4.
Named to the 11-year-old all-star team were Jay Barthelemy, Cole Cangemi, Jake Barlow, Tyler Cothern, Chandler Grayson, Jake Cooper, Korey Henson, Jayden Ivy, Nathan Knapp, Weedie Davis, Dylan Parnham, Pate Shirley and Kyle Passman.
Coaches are Whest Shirley, Daniel Grayson and Lane Barlow.
The 11-year-old all-stars will compete in district in Monroe beginning July 4.
The Concordia Parish 12-year-old All-Star team consists of Trey Book, Cole Cupit, Wyatt Boothe, Alan Doyle, D.J. Jones, Dakota Hunt, Ty Brown, Dakota Nations, Tyler Stockstill, Hayden Nunnery, Hunter Randall and William Handjis.
Coaches are Jon Nunnery, Travis Brown and Sean Handjis.
The 12-year-old all-star team will compete in sub-district play beginning July 4 in Winnsboro.
