Engagement Owens - Swilley
 Reverend and Mrs. George Owens announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Megan Danielle Owens of Shivers, MS, to Jesse Lee Swilley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Swilley, Sr., of Raymond, MS. The bride-to-be's mother is the former Karen (Candy) Hopkins of Waterproof.
The bride-elect is the maternal granddaughter of Mr. Harvey Hopkins of Waterproof, the late Mrs. Irene Hopkins, and the paternal granddaughter of the late Mr. William E. Owens Sr., of Shivers.
She is a 2004 graduate of Brandon Christian Academy in Brandon. She majored in music at Jackson College of Ministries and Texas Bible College in Lufkin, TX. She received her associates of Applied Science in medical office technology at Jones County Junior College in Ellisville, MS, in 2007. She is currently employed with MEA Medical Clinic in Ridgeland, MS.
The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. Michael Pruitt of Iuka, MS, Mr. and Mrs. James Charlotte Shock of DeQueen, AR, the late Mr. Franklin Lee Swilley and the late Mrs. Betty Hayes of Pearl, MS.
He is a 2004 graduate of Hinds Community College General Education Program in Raymond and is employed with Kenneth Swilley Painting Inc. of Raymond.
The couple will exchange vows two o'clock in the afternoon on July 11, 2009, at New Hebron Pentecostal Church in New Hebron, MS.
Friends and family are invited to share the special occasion. |
