Ferriday softball teams winning
The Ferriday Dixie Belles defeated Swartz, 19-10 in its first tournament game in Jonesville.
Savannah Johnson, KeKe Collins, Ginny Daggett, Kaitlan Melton and Molly Devening each had at least two hits.
Ellen Bairnsfather, Taylor Morace, Kennedy Beard, Lindsey Johnston and Laura Perilloux also had hits for Ferriday.
Perilloux held Swartz to just four hits.
The Dixie Belles defeated Rayville 10-0 Tuesday.
Laura Perrilloux got the win.
Keke Collins tripled, Lindsey Johnson doubled, while Ellen Bairnsfather, Savannah Johnsonm Ginny Daggett and Taylor Morace all singled.
The Ferriday Dixie Debs defeated Rayville 9-4.
Mary Sanders was the winning pitcher.
Madison Simpson had two hits for the Debs.
The Ferriday 12-under team defeated Winnsboro, 5-3.
Karlee Woodruff was the winning pitcher.
McKenzie Milligan had three hits for the Ponytail team, while MacKenzie Watts, Tori Edwards, Woodruff and Taylor Rodgers had one hit each.
On Tuesday, the 12-under team defated Rayville 7-0 as Woodruff got the win and doubled.
Paige Bryan doubled and singled. Baylor Smith, Savannah McCarver and McKenzie Watts each singled. |
