Rollie Tucker Funeral services for Mr. Rollie Tucker, 52, of Vidalia will be held at Young's Funeral Home Thursday, July 16, 2009, at 2 p.m. with Pastor John Collard officiating.
Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Vidalia.
Mr. Tucker was born December 26, 1956, in Ferriday to Tommy and Beth Tucker. He passed away Monday, July 13, 2009, in Vidalia.
Rollie delivered newspapers for the Alexandria Town Talk, Natchez Democrat and Monroe News Star.
He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Tucker.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Brownell Tucker of Vidalia; daughter, Love Lee Tucker of Vidalia; son, William R. Tucker, Jr., of Vidalia; mother, Elizabeth "Beth" Tucker of Vidalia; grandchildren -- Chaise Nations, Hunter Nations, Landon Ferguson, Dominik, Xander and Mallori Harveston; sisters, Ellen Yates and Merry Bonnette of Vidalia; stepsons -- Wayne Harveston of Vidalia, Carol Joseph Carlos of California, Jackie James Cornwell, Jr., of Pearl, MS; stepdaughters -- Lena Geter of Vidalia, Shannon Marie Cornwell of Ferriday, Rosemary Arnold of New Iberia, and Kimberely Gill of South Carolina.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Donald, Gerald Donald, Freddie Green Sr., Freddie Green Jr., Dave Yates, Doug Yates, Willie Bailey and Gabe Bailey.
The family will receive friends at Young's Funeral Home of Vidalia from 5 to 8 p.m. today, Wednesday, July 15, 2009. |
