Concordia 12s go 1-2 at district

The Concordia Parish 12-year-old All-Stars went 1-2 at the District 5 Tournament in Osterland, falling to Rayville 10-9 Monday night.

Concordia started off play with a 14-6 loss to West Monroe South.

Wyatt Boothe had two triples, Trey Book singled twice and Tyler Stockstill homered.

Dylan Jones, William Handjis, Hunter Randall and Trevor Milligan each singled.

Concordia defeated Monroe Nationals 14-8.

Ty Brown was the winning pitcher.

Wyatt Boothe and Stockstill each had a home run and two singles to lead Concordia. Hayden Nunnery and Hunter Randall singled twice. Alan Doyle delivered a home run. Dakota Hunt, Cole Cupit, Dylan Jones, Brown, Book and Handjis each singled.

In the loss to Rayville, Cupit homered and had two singles. Brown homered and singled. Jones had two singles.

Randall singled twice, while Boothe tripled. Stockstill added a double, while Nunnery, Handjis and Book singled.

The 12-year-olds won the sub-district tournament in Winnsboro last week.
