Crystal Alise McMillin and Layton Shane Strebeck, both of Monterey, were united in marriage May 30, 2009, at Lismore Baptist Church. Joseph Odenwald and Stan Wyant officiated.

Parents of the bride are Gilbert and Linda McMillin of Monterey. The groom is the son of Van and Kim Strebeck of Monterey.

Music for the ceremony was provided by pianist and soloist Karla Shirley McHand.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a Mori Lee bridal gown of delicate chiffon and lace. The slim, strapless A-line gown featured cascades of lace and a draped empire waist. Pearls and rhinestones adorned the bodice and the corset tie back fell into a chapel length train. Her single-tiered veil was elbow length and trimmed with rhinestones and pearls.

Devin Rowland of Omaha, AR, attended as maid of honor. She wore a pink satin strapless A-line gown shirred at the waist. Yellow ribbon was entwined down the left side of the bodice.

Bridesmaids were Faith Lisemby of Chattanooga, TN, Kayla Shirley of Winnsboro, and Kelsey Mount, Melissa Simpson, and Gretchen Breaux, all of Monterey. They were attired in the same manner as Miss Rowland.

Rylie Murray of Monterey, niece of the bride, was flower girl, and Harlie Murray, of Monterey, also a niece of the bride, was ring bearer.

Gary Evans of Ruston served as best man.

Groomsmen were Matt Shively, Landon White, Tate Strebeck, all of Monterey, Kevin Shirley and Travis Shirley, both of Winnsboro.

Ushers were Levi Knapp of Jonesville, Hayden Cassels and Whit Mount, both of Monterey.

Program attendant was Christian Beckham of Jonesville.

A reception followed at the church. Carol Ann Folmer of Monterey served as hostess.

Following a wedding trip to Orange Beach, AL, the couple has made their home in Monterey.
