Margaret Jean Kirby Funeral services for Margaret Jean Kirby, 45, of Ferriday were held Saturday, August 8, 2009, 2 p.m. at Comer Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Martin officiating.
Burial followed at Central Cemetery in Wisner under the direction of Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Mrs. Kirby was born April 29, 1964, in Ferriday, the daughter of Eugene J. Egloff and Mary S. Webb. She passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2009, in Alexandria.
She was a lifelong resident of Ferriday and was employed as a waitress.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include one son, B.J. Egloff and wife, Hailey, of Portland, OR; one daughter, Elizabeth Nell Kirby of Harrisonburg; two brothers, David Egloff and wife, Robin, of Crowville, and Steven Egloff of Vidalia; two sisters, Velvet Goodwin and husband, Johnny, of Sicily Island and Becky Craft of Ferriday; stepfather, Frank Webb of Vidalia; one grandchild, Abigail Laine Peak; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Hunter Norris, Leslie Fish, Daniel Tate, Jake Smedley, Jim Sanderson and Caleb Goodwin.
Honorary pallbearers were Morris Harper and John Sanderson. |
