Scottie Glyn Ensminger
Funeral services for Scottie Glyn Ensminger, 62, of Monterey were held at Monterey Church of Christ on Monday, August 24, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Russell Crum and Bro. Davon Huss officiating.
Interment followed at New Era Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Mr. Ensminger was born July 26, 1947, in Wisner and passed away Saturday August 22, 2009, at Natchez Regional Medical Center in Natchez.
He was a resident of Monterey, a self-employed mechanic and a member of Monterey Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his father, Pete Ensminger; and his mother, Beulha Forman.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Coleen Ensminger of Monterey; sons — John Scott Ensminger and his wife, Kim, and children, Caleb and Shelby Kaye of Webb City, MO, Micheal Ensminger of Natchitoches, and Jared Glyn Ensminger of Monterey; and father-in-law, J.W. Pruitt of Monterey.
Pallbearers were Brian Dale, Lane Dale, Lee Dale, Rory Dale, Kenneth Hedricks and Jimmy McMillin.
Honorary pallbearers were Joe Dale, Jim Dalrymple, David Morace, Jamie Morace, Danny Paul, Jeffery Paul and Milton Sanders. |
