Keith Brooks Funeral services for Mr. Keith Brooks, 51, of Jonesville were held at Parhams Baptist Church on Saturday, September 5, 2009, 10 a.m. with the Rev. Jack Knapp and the Rev. Dwayne Carlock officiating.
Burial followed at Adams United Methodist Church Cemetery in Auburn, MS, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Jonesville.
Mr. Brooks was born July 17, 1958, in Liberty, MS, the son of L.E. "Bo" Brooks and Reece Junkin. He passed away Thursday, September 3, 2009, in Parhams.
He was a resident of the Parhams community and a driller in the oilfield.
He was preceded in death by his father; one son, Eric Dwayne Brooks; and one brother, Lionel Brooks.
Survivors include his mother, Reece Junkin of Parhams; one daughter, Samantha Nicole Wyant and husband, Greg; one grandson, Ayden Cole Wyant; and a number of family and friends.
Pallbearers were Justin Spinks, Joshua Collins, Tonye Daniel, Tracie Brown, Justin Granger, Owen Calkins and Keith Bennette.
Honorary pallbearers were local area firefighters. |
