Nell Arnold
Funeral services for Mrs. Nell Arnold, 69, of Vidalia were held Monday, September 7, 2009, 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Vidalia with Bro. Dusty Carson officiating. Services were under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Arnold was born October 27, 1939, in Saint Joseph and passed away Saturday, September 5, 2009, at Natchez Regional Medical Center.
She was a resident of Vidalia, a retired librarian at the Concordia Parish Library and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleo and Rose Freeman, formerly of Newellton.
Survivors include her husband, Gorden Arnold of Vidalia; son, Stephen Arnold and wife, Rosemary, of New Iberia; daughter, Lisa Cater and husband, Michael, of Vidalia; sister, Billie Stewart and husband, Edward, of Natchitoches; brothers, Cleo Freeman and wife, Marie, of Natchitoches, John Freeman and wife, Joanna, of Atlanta, GA, Jeryl Freeman and wife, Leona, of Newellton, Paul Freeman and wife, Tessie, of Lexington, TX; grandchildren, Emily Babb and husband, Jeremy, of Monroe, Laura Cater of Vidalia, Michael Arnold and fianc é, Misty Manual, of Lafayette, and Chris Arnold of New Iberia.
