Ruth Virginia Kilpatrick Funeral services for Ruth Virginia Kilpatrick, 96, of Vidalia were held at Evangel Temple Assembly of God today, Wednesday, September 16, 2009, 10 a.m. with the Bro. Kenneth Ensminger and the Sis. Gay Bradford officiating.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 17, 2009, 10 a.m. at Marble Valley Cemetery in Marble Valley, AL, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Mrs. Kilpatrick was born March 17, 1913, in Arcadia, the daughter of Thomas Meadow Pierce and Lizzie Ophelia Pierce. She passed away Sunday, September 13, 2009, at Natchez Community Hospital.
She was a resident of Vidalia, a homemaker and a member of Evangel Temple Assembly of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvel Denson Kilpatrick; her parents; and one son, Talmadge Kilpatrick.
Survivors include one son, Tony Kilpatrick and wife, Nichole, of Baton Rouge; one daughter, Golda Ensminger and husband, Kenneth, of Vidalia; one daughter-in-law, Delores Kilpatrick of Denham Springs; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Joshua Janway, Neil Janway, Bruce Kilpatrick, Byron Kilpatrick, John Kilpatrick and Brandon Kilpatrick. |
