Notary Association meeting in Vidalia The Louisiana Notary Association will hold its annual conference in Vidalia on October 1-3.
The conference will be held at the Bryant O'Hammett Vidalia Conference and Convention Center in Vidalia.
Notary Public Conference Committee Chairman Kevin Friloux said he expects more than 100 notaries to attend.
"Prior to the annual conference in 2008, I spoke with members of the association and recommended they come to North Louisiana and enjoy the hospitality of the area," Friloux said. "They responded by choosing Vidalia as the 2009 annual conference site. Having just relocated to Vidalia and wanting to be a productive member of our community, I was pleased they accepted my recommendation."
In addition to educational sessions including wills, successions, mortgages, matrimonial regimes and auto title transfers, the group will be entertained by Clyde Webber, local humorist and the musical duet, Osgood & Blaque.
The group will also visit Historic Twin Oaks in Natchez.
