Parents of the bride are DeeDee and Randy Cooper of Monterey and Steve and Nikki Roark of Crowville. The groom is the son of Stacey and Billy Nelson of Waterproof.
The sanctuary of the church was decorated with black candelabras holding white candles and the altar featured ferns and creamy white Calla lilies. There was also a unity candle and a memory table that held a candle for the bride's late grandfathers.
Rhonda Wilson provided music for the occasion. Selections included "Who I Am," "I Could Not Ask for More," and "I Can See You Loving Me."
The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She wore a strapless A-line gown embellished with scattered seed pearls and a ruffled tulle organza skirt. Her fingertip veil was edged with seed pearls.
For her bouquet, she carried creamy white Calla lilies gathered and held by pearl closures. She also carried a handkerchief belonging to her great-grandmother.

Bridesmaids were Lyndsay Hendrix of St. Joseph, Kristen Wheeler of Monterey, Chelsea Crum of Monterey, Blythe Millican of Monterey, Jennifer Goulart of Ruston, Lauren Romero of Winnsboro, and Haley Nelson of Ferriday. They were attired in the same manner as Ms. Howard.
Miracle Nelson, sister of the groom, was flower girl. She wore a white taffeta calf-length dress with ruffles adorning the hem line to compliment the bride's gown.

The wedding cake was four-tiers with black ribbon tied on each layer. The cake was topped with a scrolled monogram "N".
The groom's cake offered guests three different flavors of cheesecake. It was placed beside fleur de lis plaque showing the bride and groom's names and wedding date.
