Adams County Christian School fell to 1-1 in MAIS District 5-AA with a 33-21 loss at Central Private Friday.

"We fell behind 21-0 and just couldn't dig ourselves out of the hole," said AC coach Paul Hayles. "We scored right before the half and had the ball for the first possession of the second half and made a fourth and inches, but killed the drive with penalties."

Central Private running back Bobby Muse, who scored five touchdowns.

AC's Kent Yates completed 21-of-34 passes for 270 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions. Daniel Guedon, Lee Swinney and Bryce Murray were on the receiving ends of the TD passes.

ACCS travels to Clinton, La., to face Silliman Institute in a district game Friday.

"Every district game is big," Hayles said. "But we still have our destiny in our own hands."
