Postmaster to speak at Ferriday Chamber
The Ferriday Chamber of Commerce will meet on Tuesday, October 20, at noon at The Arcade Performing Arts Center in Ferriday.
The guest speaker will be Beverly Chalmers, postmaster of the Ferriday Post Office. She will be talking about flat rate shipping and the preparation of newsletter type mailings on-line, all helpful and cost-effective tools for individuals and businesses.
The chamber will be joining a census training meeting that will be in session from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and include individuals from a number of other parishes.
