DOTD bids let for local, area projects The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) considered bids totaling more than $115 million at its Sept. 30 public bid opening, according to Gov. Bobby Jindal and DOTD Secretary William D. Ankner, Ph.D.
With a bid of $41,626,832.18, T.J. Lambrecht Construction Inc., Joliet, Ill., was the low bidder on the most expensive job let Sept. 30, a project in Caddo Parish calling for installing drainage pipe, asphalt overlay, concrete overlay, installing concrete slab span bridges and related work on I-49 North from U.S. 71 South to La. 2.
Other projects awarded are listed below by parish, description, contractor and bid:
Concordia – Asphalt overlay, pavement patching and related work on La. 600 from La. 565 to La. 3203, Diamond B Construction Co. LLC, Alexandria, $851,616.85.
Franklin – Asphalt overlay and related work on the southbound lanes of U.S. 425 from Chase to Winnsboro, Diamond B Construction Co. LLC, Alexandria, $1,221,444.36.
District 05, 58 – Retainer contract for repairing and replacing guardrail in Caldwell, Catahoula, Concordia, East Carroll, Franklin, Jackson, LaSalle, Lincoln, Tensas, Madison, Morehouse, Ouachita, Richland, Union and West Carroll parishes, Command Construction Industries LLC, Metairie, $487,780. |
