"Our guys realize every game is crucial," said Block head coach Benny Vault."They were a whole lot more focused and raring to go last Friday. We still plan on being the Class 1A staet champion, we just have to take a harder road to get there."

St. Mary's fumbled on two of their first three plays.

The Bears fumbled on their first play and St. Mary'stook over on the Bear 16. Block held on downs and moved the ball out to the 40 before punting.

Block scored the lone touchdown of the first half on an 85-yard drive which ended with Preston Davis scoring from six yards out. Travis Barber added the kick.

A Cudarius Johnson interception led to a 30-yard TD pass from Johnson to A.J. Calhoun.

Preston Davis scored his second touchdown to increase the Bear lead to 19-0 with 7:00 remaining in the third quarter.

Antione Bowie's 64-yard interception afor a touchdown put the Bears up 26-0 with Travis' extra point.Another Tiger fumble led to Bowie scoring from 15 yards out to complete the scoring.

The Bears travel to Montgomery Friday.

"Montgomery is not as strong as they have been, but we are approaching this game the same way we approached the St. Mary's game," Vault said.
