Edna Mitchell Boothe Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Mitchell Boothe, 90, of Harrisonburg were held at Myers Bend Pentecostal Church on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 12 p.m. with Bro. Bill Cotten and Bro. Carl Boothe officiating.
Interment followed at Heard Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Jonesville.
Mrs. Boothe was born August 5, 1919, in Picayune, MS and passed away Thursday, October 22, 2009, in Jonesville.
She was a homemaker and a member of Myers Bend Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Truman Leon "Perk" Boothe; a son, Herman L. Boothe; and parents, B.W. and Mary Alice Mitchell.
Survivors include a son, Truman Boothe of Harrisonburg; grandchildren -- Rhonda Ingram, Cindy Bales, Dewayne Boothe, and Gayla Howington. She was also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were James Sones, Jackie Owens, Tyler Ingram, Shane Boothe, Joel Boothe and Billy Floyd.
Honorary pallbearers were DeWayne Boothe, Robert Ingram, Eddie Howington, Brad Boothe and Earl "Poboy" Parker. |
