Funeral services for Mr. Marion Hudnall, 68, of Jonesville were held today, Wednesday, November 4, 2009, 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Jonesville with Bro. Gary Norris and Bro. Lester Johnson officiating.

Interment followed at Heard Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Jonesville.

Mr. Hudnall was born September 4, 1941, in Jonesville. He passed away Saturday, October 31, 2009, in Houston, TX, at the Memorial Hermann Heart and Vascular Institute.

Marion Hudnall was the owner and operator of Hudnall's Plumbing & Electrical Services in Jonesville who lived his life each day to the fullest. He was a member of Wallace Ridge Baptist Church. He loved spending time with his family and friends, cooking in his outdoor kitchen and working in his shop. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, working, and drinking coffee with his friends at the office (Hardware Center).

He was preceded in death by his father, Rufus Marion Hudnall; mother, Edna Coleman Hudnall; and a brother, Bobby Dale Hudnall.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Hudnall of Jonesville; son, Tony Hudnall of Jonesville; daughter, Tanya Tate and husband, Keith, of Pineville; brother, Kenneth Hudnall of Natchitoches; sister, Ginger Juneau and husband, Charles, of Livingston; sisters-in-law, Margaret Hudnall and Betty Hudnall; grandchildren -- Devin Evans, Taylor Hudnall, and Callie Shermer. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews and a daugher-in-law, Sharon Hudnall of Carrollton, GA.

Pallbearers were Will Edwards, Richard Woodle, Brandon Juneau, Cully Hudnall, Jordan Hudnall, and Dustin White.

Honorary pallbearers were Jessie Ford, Scott Hudnall, Devin Evans, Taylor Hudnall, Jacob Edwards, and Callie Shermer.
