Mr. and Mrs. Marion Vines Jr. of Natchez announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Haley Anne Vines, to Brent Ellis Tosspon of Baton Rouge. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kelly of Ferriday and Mr. and Mrs. George Tosspon of Pineville and Jonesville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carlton E. Brock of Shreveport and Mr. Marion Lewis Vines Sr. of Natchez and the late Mrs. Mary Ann Vines.

She is a graduate of Adams Country Christian School in Natchez and the Aveda Institute in Baton Rouge.

The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Smith of Liberty, MS, the late Barbara Smith of Baton Rouge, and the late Mr. and Mrs. George Tosspon Sr. of Wildsville.

He is a graduate of Cathedral High School in Natchez and attended Copiah Lincoln Community College in Wesson where he was a member of the football team. He now attends Nicholls State University in Thibodeaux and is employed by Diamond Offshore Drilling.

The wedding will take place November 28, 2009, 5:30 p.m. at Memorial Park in Natchez. A reception will follow at the park.

Family and friends are invited.
