Monterey sweeps Forest, Cathedral Monterey High carried a broom with them through the past week, earning sweeps against Forest on Friday and at Cathedral on Tuesday.
Monterey's boys defeated the Green Wave 54-41.
The 3-4 Wolves dominated play early, outscoring Cathedral 21-5 in the first period.
Both teams scored 14 points in the second period.
Josh Chapman led Monterey with 13 points and Jacob Evans added 11 points.
Monterey's girls led the Lady Wave 10-8 after one period before running away with a 62-39 win.
The Lady Wolves outscored Cathedral 19-10 in the second period and 21-6 in the third quarter.
Kendall Lipsey led the Lady Wolves with 16 points. Brokke Baker added 13.
Monterey swept a pair of games from Forest High on Friday for Homecoming.
Forest was in Monterey's district last year, but the Wolves were sent to another district for this season and next season.
Monterey's girls jumped out to a 16-8 first quarter lead and outscored the Lady Bulldogs 19-8 in the third period.
Kendall Lipsey led Monterey with 20 points, while Ellen Bairnsfather added 12 and Brooke Baker nine.
Monterey's boys broke open a close game in the second quarter, outscoring the Bulldogs 19-8 in the second period on its way to a 63-38 win.

Monterey will compete in the Grace Christian Tournament beginning Thursday before hosting LaSalle on Tuesday |
