Graveside services for Mr. Richard Eugene Hancock, 57, of Vidalia, were held at Greenlawn Memorial Park on Wednesday, November 18, 2009, at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Timothy Vanier officiating under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Mr. Hancock was born July 4, 1952, in Natchez and passed away Friday, November 13, 2009, at Natchez Regional Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by her father, Odis Ray Hancock; mother, Lottie Lee Kuehn Hancock; brother, Charles Ray Hancock; brother, Odis Ray Hancock, Jr.; and an aunt, Velma Temple Hancock.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa Johnson Hancock of Vidalia; son, Rick Hancock of Vidalia; daughter, Lori Mullins and her husband, Jeremy, of Vidalia; brother, Fredrick John Carman of Texas; grandson, David Mullins; two granddaughters, Amie and Anna Mullins; uncle, John Hancock of Summit, MS; aunt, Karen Lofton and her husband Donald, of Vidalia.
Pallbearers were Rick Hancock, Jeremy Mullins, David Johnson, Jamie Welch, Charlie Long, and Gabe Carman.
Honorary pallbearers were Kenny Johnson, Bobby Johnson, David Carman and Mike Beall. |
