Trinity Episcopal is one win away from playing for another state championship as the Saints defeated Sylva Bay 43-14 Friday.

Trinity hosts Riverfield Academy of Rayville Friday in the South A State championship contest.

The winner of Friday's game faces the Desoto-Tunica winner on November 27 in Clinton at 1 p.m. for the state championship.

Tunica defeated Tri-County 48-42, while Desoto defeated Winona 14-6.

Riverfield advanced with a 27-6 win over Prentiss Christian.

Trinity's R.J. Fleming did most of the damage against Sylva Bay, rushing for 167 yards and scoring three touchdowns, while also catching a 61-yard socring pass from quarterback Givonni Dent.

Trinity (10-3) scored first when Fleming dashed 25 yards with 10:37 left in the first quarter.
