Wedding Gill - Smith
Kacie Lynette Gill of Vidalia and Jared Earl Smith of Franklinton were married November 21, 2009, six o'clock in the evening at First Baptist Church in Natchez with the Rev. George Ridge officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Mark M. Miller of Vidalia, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond A. Gill of Natchez and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Smith of Franklinton.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Mrs. Gwenette Broome and Mr. Buddy Givens.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Raymond Gill. She wore a strapless satin, A-line gown with a sweetheart neckline. The gown featured crystal beading, sequins and rhinestones on the bodice with a crystal pattern throughout the semi-cathedral train. The dress featured a wrap waist and a corset back. Her fingertip veil was edged in sequins.
Claire Robertson Rymer of Clinton, Mississippi, served as matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Emily Cameron Ables of Madison, Mississippi, Ms. Amanda Caye Comer of Baton Rouge, Ariel Christine Gardner of Vidalia, Tiffany Clark Kyzar of Natchez, Ms. Lindsay Denise Paschal of Brandon, Mississippi, and Keisha Fulcher White of Flowood, Mississippi.
The wore mocha satin gowns with an A-line skirt and empire wrapped waistline. They carried bouquets of red, yellow and orange Calla lilies.
Jadyn Rae Biglane of Natchez was flower girl.
Jerry Smith of Franklinton was best man.
Groomsmen were Russell Leo Cook of Natchez, Josh Brent Favors of Auburn, Alabama, Robert Lee Freeman of Mt. Hermon, Steven Barry Galloway of Franklinton, Alexander Stephen Miller of Vidalia, and Cecil Carlisle Passman Jr. of Franklinton.
Trey Anthony Gill of Natchez was ringbearer.
Ushers were Kyle Matthew Carter of Woodville, Mississippi, and Merle Jason Hagan of Hammond.
A reception was held at the Natchez Community Center following the ceremony.
After a wedding trip to the Dominican Republic, the couple will live in Franklinton. |
