Huntington's boys picked up their second win of the season, defeating Tensas 72-44 in the final game of the Huntington Doubleheader on November 24.

Huntington jumped out to a 18-5 lead in the first quarter.

"The guys are really coming together," said Huntington coach Edwin White. "We finally put four quarters together. They played with a lot of unselfishness."

Kevin Brown led the Hounds with 21 points.

"Kevin showed a lot of leadership from the point guard position," White said. "He was getting everyone involved. I wanted to speed the tempo up. For once we caused the turnovers."

Huntington's girls fell to Trinity 54-20.

Trinity led 18-6 after one period and 29-16 at halftime.

Abi Brown led Huntington with 11. The Lady Hounds also fell to Tensas.

"I'm just trying to instill some structure because these kids have not had that the last few years," White said. "I've told them there are two seasons and we are just getting ready for district. We just want to improve during the season."
