Vidalia High scored in the 90s for the third straight game as the Vikings defeated Pineville 92-60 Tuesday in Pineville.

"That was probably one of our better games of the year," said Vidalia assistant coach Damus Smith.

The Vikings jumped out to a 27-17 first quarter advantage and increased that lead to 47-29 in the second period.

Torrey Dixon led the Vikings with 28 points, while Gary Stewart added 24.

Quartrell Thomas chipped in with 18 points.

"Quartrell did a good job of attacking the basket," Smith said.

The Lady Vikings fell to Pineville 64-14.

Gabby Wagoner led Vidalia with eight points.

Vidalia plays at Ferriday High Friday. The Vikings host Natchez Tuesday.
