Huntington girls down River Oaks
Huntington's girls picked up their second win of the season as the Lady Hounds defeated River Oaks 45-30 in Monroe Tuesday.
Huntington jumped out to a 15-4 first quarter advantage over the Lady Mustangs and kept the home team from threatening the lead the remainder of the game.
Abi Brown led Huntington with 21 points. Kristen Havard and Abbye Ashmore added seven points each.
Huntington's boys fell to River Oaks, 61-36.
The Hounds trailed 42-14 at halftime.
Kevin Brown led Huntington with 11 points, while Jeremiah Powell added 10.
Huntington's game at Central Private Friday was cancelled because of the snow.
Huntington hosts ACCS Thursday before traveling to Central Friday. |
