K's Cafe at Kaiser's Mobil received an unexpected late night drive-through visitor when a Wisner woman drove her 1996 Grand Prix through the restaurant portion of the building Tuesday at 7:55 p.m.

According to Vidalia Police Sgt. Delayne Bush, Charlotte Batey, 60, of Wisner was driving through Vidalia when she stopped at the Mobil gas station to pick up some supplies.

"She turned and went by the gas pumps and her foot slipped off the brake and hit the gas," Bush said.

Bush said no one was in the restaurant at the time and the woman was not injured.

"We had an ambulance on the scene," Bush said.

Batey was not cited, but the accident is still under investigation.

The Concordia Parish Sheriff's Office and the Vidalia Fire Department assisted in the accident.
