Ruby Robertson Smith
Funeral services for Ruby Robertson Smith, 71, of Ridgecrest were held Friday, December 18, 2009, 2 p.m. at the chapel of Brown Funeral Home in Gloster, Miss, with Bro. David Smith officiating.
Burial followed at Mt. Vernon Cemetery near Gloster.
She was born March 8, 1939, in Coldwater, Missouri, the daughter of Emmitt Seal and Bertha Seal. She passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2009, at Rapides General Medical Center in Alexandria.
She was employed for many years at the Fish Fry Seafood Restaurant. She loved to cook and never met a stranger.
Survivors include a daughter, Melissa Smith of Ferriday; one son, Mike Robertson of Ridgecrest; one grandson, Josh Smith and wife Miranda; two great-grandchildren, Chloe Smith and Clayton Smith; two sisters, Kate Wheeler and Helen Moraglia; and a brother, Robert Seal.
Pallbearers were Randy Reinninger, Wayne Thompson, Jody Smith, Tim Bond, Randy Lipscomb, and Roger Lee Robertson. |
