Thomas Chatman and Jeramie Jones of Ferriday proudly announce the birth of a daughter, Ayla Latrice Chatman, born December 8, 2009, at Natchez Regional Medical Center.

The infant weighed six pounds, three ounces.

Maternal grandparents are Ruby Jones and Carmen Chatman of Ferriday.

Paternal grandparents are Michael Kimmons of Memphis, TN, and Curtis Barber of Ferriday.
