Huntington drops pair of games
by Joey Martin - posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
Huntington's girls and boys dropped games to Prairie View and Central Private last week.

"I thought we played well at times, but we are just not in the class of those schools," said Huntington head coach Edwin White.

Huntington will return to play on December 28 with games against WCCA at the Adams County Christian School Shootout.

"Everything we've done up to now is to get us ready for district," White said. "We're trying to build on the good things we've done while minimizing our mistakes and turnovers."

White said he has brought up several players from the junior varsity teams to provide depth.

"I have been working with them and I believe they can contribute," White said. "We shouldn't get into the situation where we only have two players at the end of the game because of foul trouble. We're just trying to put a good nucleus together to help us play better."
