Ferriday Council discusses water, USDA

After being called out at 5 a.m. in the morning because of water problems Tuesday morning, Ferriday Mayor Glen McGlothin updated the Ferriday Board of Aldermen on the water plant.

"It was supposed to be finished this week," McGlothin said. "We need a dry week to continue. The cold weather helped us in that the ground was hard enough to get some work done on the foundation."
