King's dream celebrated Monday

The dream of the late civil rights leader, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and a dream for Ferriday were celebrated Monday in a special service.

Following the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Day Parade on Doty Road, a breakfast and program was held at Doty Road Church of God.

"We have come a long way as a nation," said Evangelist Lillian King, who served as mistress of ceremony. "And we are here to celebrate a man who had a dream."
