Lake Concordia citizens form water committee A group of citizens living along Lake Concordia on the outskirts of Ferriday elected a committee Tuesday night to pursue legal advice on installing a water line and obtaining water from Concordia Waterworks.
The area is presently on the Ferriday water system.
One of the newly-elected committee members, H.L. Irvin, said the area includes 86 households stretching from the John Deere store to Hwy. 900, including Panola Cove and Lakeshore Drive.
