Foundation work continues at the Ferriday water plant as piers have been drilled and concrete poured for pillars that will hold a form for plant equipment.

Auger Services of Gonzales is doing the foundation work.

"We're hoping by the end of February to have that water tank up," said Ferriday Mayor Glen McGlothin.
