Malvie Butts Funeral services for Malvie Butts, 89, of Jonesville were held at Good Road Pentecostal Church on Saturday, February 13, 2010, 2 p.m. with Rev. Bryan Taylor officiating.
Interment followed at Heard Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Jonesville.
Mrs. Butts was born June 9, 1920, in Jonesville and passed away Thursday, February 11, 2010, at LaSalle General Hospital in Jena. She was a resident of Jonesville, and a homemaker, and she was a member of the Good Road Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Carice Masters; and husband, Harley Butts.
Survivors include son, Glynn Butts and wife Shirley of Jonesville; son, Carmon Butts and wife Carlyon of Jonesville; daughter, Avis Myers and husband James of Jonesville; and daughter, Mavis Williams and husband Timmy of Jonesville. She was also survived by nine grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jay Forrest, Glenn Butts, Jr., Brad Butts, David Evans, Jeffery Cater.
Honorary pallbearers was Timmy Williams. |
