Engagement - Taunton, Strader
Mr. and Mrs. Mark Taunton of Natchez announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Catherine Elizabeth Taunton, to Steven Patrick Strader, son of Robert and Candace Strader of Natchez, formerly of Brandon, Miss.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Cathedral High School and Louisiana State Univeristy School of Dentistry with a bachelor's degree in Dental Lab Technology. She is currently pursuing a degree in nursing and is employed by Natchez Regional Medical Center.
She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Leicester McGehee of Natchez, the late Mr. Leicester McGehee, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Dock Taunton of Vidalia.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Brandon High School and Louisiana State University with a bachelor's degree in Sociology. He is employed by the State of Mississippi as a law enforcement officer.
He is the grandson of Mrs. Meda Hayne of Lafayette, the late Mr. Donald Hayne, and the late Mr. and Mrs. William C. Strader of Baton Rouge.
A private morning ceremony will take place March 20, 2010, at Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church in Natchez. A reception will follow at Mount Repose. Formal invitations will be sent. |
