Vidalia seeking readiness grant
The Vidalia Board of Aldermen Tuesday authorized City Manager Ken Walker to apply for a planning readiness grant through the Louisiana Department of Economic Development.
The grant would pay for consultants from the University of New Orleans and Louisiana State University to assist a 10-person local committee in the creation of development plan unique and specific to the City of Vidalia.
