Brooking competes in California Former Vidalia native, Gregory C. Brooking, Certified Golf Course Superintendent at Duncan Park Golf Course in Natchez, MS participated in the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) National Championship and Golf Classic presented in partnership with The Toro Co., Feb. 5-7, in Palm Springs, Calif.
The GCSAA National Championship features the top 100 superintendents internationally, in a two-day, 36-hole, stroke-play tournament.
Brooking's scores of 77-76=151 at the tough PGA West's Greg Norman Course tied for 15th place overall and was 3rd overall in the Senior Division of the National Championship.
Brooking was among the top players in numerous statistical categories including Most Pars during the championship. |
