Vidalia softball tourney this weekend
Vidalia High's softball team will be hoping for better weather this weekend when the annual Lady Viking Invitational takes place.
The tournament was completely wiped out by rain last year.
Monterey, Cathedral and LaSalle will compete in one pool, while Vidalia, Rayville and Franklin Parish will compete in the other pool.
Action begins Friday with Monterey taking on Cathedral at 5 p.m., followed by Rayville against Franklin Parish.
On Saturday, at 9:30 a.m., Cathedral faces LaSalle. Vidalia tekas on Rayville at 11 a.m., followed by LaSalle against Monterey at 12:30 p.m. At 2 p.m., Franklin Parish meets Vidalia.
The next three contests will be determined by how the teams end up in their pool. |
