Vikings, Wolves named to academic team Vidalia High's Gary Stewart was named to the Louisiana Athletic Assocation Academic All-State Boys Basketball Composite Team, while Monterey's Ariel Hector was named to the LHSAA All-State Girls Composite Team.
Monterey's Cade Crum. Jorge Gonzalez and Ross Lipsey were named to the Class B All-Academic first team.
Gabrielle Wagoner of Vidalia was named to the Class 3A first team with a 3.97 grade point average.
Stewart, who was also named to the Academic All-State Football Team, which is made up of all classes, has a 4.0 grade point average.
Hector also carries a 4.0 grade point average.
Vidalia's Louis Whitley was named as an honorable mention on the Class 3A team.
Lipsey has a 3.95 grade point average.
Crum has a 3.85 GPA. while Gonzalez has a 3.76 grade point average.
Whitley has a GPA of 3.37. |
