Raymond L. Rushing Jr. Funeral service for Raymond L. "Ray" Rushing Jr., 33, were held today, Wednesday, March 31, 2010, 2 p.m. at New Hope Pentecostal Church with Rev. Kenneth Patten and Rev. Bobby Ratcliff officiating.
Private burial will be at South Central Cemetery under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home Winnsboro.
Mr. Rushing was born on April 2, 1976 in Natchez and died on March 29, 2010 in Jackson, Miss., after a brief illness.
He was a resident of Natchez, a former resident of Franklin Parish and attended the Pentecostal faith.
He is preceded in death by a brother James Clinton Rushing; grandparents Rev. James Ira Caldwell, James Grady and Nellie Mae Rushing.
Survivors include his father Raymond L. Rushing Sr.; mother Alice Alicia Gutierrez; step-father Lorenzo Gutierrez, all of Natchez; grandmother Dorothy E. Caldwell of Wisner; great-grandmother Mona Laurent of Wisner; special cousins "Big Sister" Michelle Ellerbe and "Little Sister" Mindy Ratcliff; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. |
