Jim and Camelia Griffin of Kilgore, Texas, announce the engagement and approachong marriage of their daughter, Lyndsay Nicole Powers of Addison, Texas, to Robin Christopher Richard of The Colony, Texas, formerly of Prairieville. He is the son of Audie and Brenda Richard of Prairieville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Helen "Pudge" Griffin, the late James H. Griffin, Jr., of Kilgore, Nelda Camp and the late James "Buddy" Camp, and Deloma Powers Poole and the late Steve Powers, all of Gilmer.

She is a 2001 graduate of Kilgore High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Texas at Tyler where she earned a degree in nursing. She is currently employed at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, Texas.

The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of T. C. "Snooks" and Patsy Lee of Waterproof, Rita and Elton Jolly of Ferriday and the late Frank "Shelby" Richard.

He attended LSU in Baton Rouge and graduated from the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a degree in business administration. He is currently employed at Diversified Insurance Management in Plano, Texas.

The couple will marry April 24, 2010, at First Presbyterian Church in Kilgore.
