Marvin H. Phillips Graveside services for Mr. Marvin H. Phillips, 55, of Clayton were held at Old Saline Cemetery, Saline La. on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 1 p.m. with officiating under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Mr. Phillips was born July 25, 1954 in Jasper, TX and passed away Monday, April 12, 2010 at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday. He was a resident of Clayton, a small engine mechanic, and a member of the Apostolic Faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Henry Phillips; mother, Joy Wiggins Phillips; and a sister, Sandy Juanice Johnson.
Survivors include son, William Henry Phillips of Clayton; son, David Ryan Phillips of Clayton; brother, Harold Lloyd West of Kilgore, Texas; brother, H.D. Phillips of Clayton; brother, George Ettle Phillips of Clayton; sister, Brenda Jo Phillips of Alexandria; sister, Beatrice "Tootie" Cowan and husband Larry of Clayton; sister, Kimberly Evans and husband Mark of Ferriday; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Dustin Evans, Seth Phillips, Nicholas Phillips, Spencer French, Tyler Evans, Robert Reinniger, Randy Reinniger and Tony Smith. |
