Engagement Corley - Staggs Mr. and Mrs. Mike Corley of Vidalia announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Christy Corley, to Lee Staggs, Jr. of Vidalia. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Staggs, Sr. of Vidalia.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Augustine Verucchi of Natchez and Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Corley of Vidalia. Honorary grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Harold MaGee.
She is a graduate of Vidalia High School and the University of Southern Mississippi School of Nursing. She is employed by Ochsner Hospital in Baton Rouge as a registered nurse.
The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William Floyd "Bill" Staggs, Sr., of Vidalia and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles M. "Chuck" Smith Sr. of Lake Concordia.
He is a graduate of Adams County Christian School and Copiah Lincoln Community College. He is also employed at Ochsner Hospital in Baton Rouge as a registered respiratory therapist.
The couple will wed May 8, 2010, six o'clock in the evening at the Elms in Natchez.
A reception will follow at the Vidalia Conference and Convention Center.
Family and friends are invited. Invitations will be sent to out-of-town guests only. |
