RiverStock 2010, Saturday, May 1st
5 Country "The South's Country Giant" will present RiverStock 2010 on the Vidalia Riverfront, Saturday, May 1st.
RiverStock will be a day full of country music from local talent as well as Nashville recording artists, art and food. Gates will open at 12 noon. RiverStock kicks off with The Colgate Country Showdown featuring local talent competing for the opportunity to perform at the State level.
The winner of the Mississippi competition will have an opportunity to compete on the National stage in Nashville for $100,000. Following the Colgate Country Showdown at 6 p.m., Nashville Recording artists Joanna Cotten, The Williams Riley Band and new artist Lee Brice will take the stage. Each artist's band will perform for 90 minutes each.
RiverStock will also feature local artisans, a caricaturist and food vendors with boiled crawfish, boiled shrimp and more for purchase. For more information please visit www.95country.com. |
