Eight members of the Vidalia High baseball team were named to the District 3-3A Team.

Senior pitcher Seth Thompson, junior outfielder Caleb Vines, senior outfielder Seth Barlow and senior baseman John Brixey were named to the first team.

Named to the second team were senior pitcher Mason Ozburn, sophomore catcher Matt Souderes, sophomore utility player Jamale Davis and senior designated hitter B.J. Neely.

Honorable mentions are Trey Lillie, Nate Bozeman and Heath White.

Thompson went 9-4 on the mound and led the team with a .458 batting average.

Barlow hit .442 and led the team with a .606 on base percentage, while Vines finished with a .361 batting average and led the team in runs (36), singles (27) and stolen bases (30).

Brixey hit .358 and led the team with a .728 slugging percentage and led the team with seven home runs.
