Wedding Titone - Branton Robin Suzanne Titone and John Elliott Branton were married in a candlelight ceremony March 20, 2010, at the LSU Cook Alumni Center overlooking the lake in Baton Rouge at 7:30 in the evening. Reverend Hulen Warren of Jefferson Methodist Church, Baton Rouge, performed the ceremony. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph P. Titone of Baton Rouge and parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. George Tanner of Frogmore and Mr. and Mrs. J. Wayne Branton of Monroe.
Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. James DeNovo of Shreveport and Mrs. Santina Titone and the late Philip Titone of Baton Rouge. Grandparents of the groom are the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald E. Ater of Ferriday, the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Branton of Gretna, and Mrs. Ben Wallace and the late Ben Wallace of Ruth, Miss.
The bride wore a strapless designer gown with a faint sweetheart bodice and chapel train. The sheer overlay softly swept across her princess skirt to accent her side.
Maid of honor was Tara Titone, sister of the bride, and attendants were Lauren Tanner Stinson of Bossier City, Lisa Culver of Denham Springs, and Jenny Branton and Andrea Strange of Baton Rouge. Junior attendants were cousins of the bride Madison Henderson of Madison, Miss., and Caroline Marchand of Baton Rouge. Flower girls were Ainsley Lyn Stinson, Abigail Branton, Elise Marchand, Andrea Marchand, and Kaitlyn Davis.
The maid of honor and attendants wore identical strapless black designer gowns and pearl necklaces. They carried clusters of cala lilies wrapped with lime green satin, secured by a row of pearl stick pins. The flower girls wore white Strasberg gowns with puffed sleeves etched in lace and tied with satin ribbons. Their gowns were accented with lace overlay waists and hemlines. The flower girls wore matching pearl necklaces, gifts from the bride.
Best man was Benjamin Moss of Baton Rouge. Attendants to the groom were Don Branton, Bob Porter, Ted Ezelle, all of Baton Rouge, and Bill Sellis of Houston, Texas. Junior attendants were Tate Branton and Conner Branton. Ring bearers were Searcy Branton and Dillon Henderson.
Ushers were Chris Davis, Cody Davis, Doug Stinson, Bo Strange, and George Tanner, Jr.
The reception was held in the Grand Ballroom at the LSU Cook Alumni Center catered by Unique Cuisine of Baton Rouge with music provided by Soulhaven.
The bride's table featured a classic tiered cake with fondant icing and sculptured lilies. A Louisiana theme was carried out on the groom's table with a tiered "crawfish pot" chocolate, caramel and pecan cake and antique wooden dough bowl filled with native plants and Louisiana iris created by Jeffry's of Ferriday.
The couple honeymooned in Breckenridge, Colorado. |
