Criminal probe into Vidalia police department
 Federal agents and the Louisiana State Police converged at the Vidalia Police Department this morning with search warrants as part of a criminal investigation into the department.
"The FBI and ATF with assistance from the Louisiana State Police are on the scene as it relates to an ongoing criminal investigation," said Sheila Thorne, Special Agent with the New Orleans Division of the FBI.
She said at 2:30 p.m. today that she could offer no further comment and could not provide any specifics. |
